Come #TakeFLITE and join us for a Summer Mixer from the comfort of your own home via Zoom on Thursday, July 9th from 5 pm - 6 pm. During the mixer we will be mixing a delicious specialty cocktail and assisting participants in the creation of an in-FLITE Cocktail while networking with people throughout the community.

As a central resource center for youth aging out of the foster care system, FLITE Center is a critical service in the lives of vulnerable youth as they transition into independent living. On average we serve 1,500 youth per year, providing them with essential services in housing, education, and employment as well as collaborating with 45 local community agencies. This comprehensive support to vulnerable youth has been a critical factor during their most crucial junctions in their lives.

Come #TakeFLITE at the August edition of Cocktails for Humanity which will include local celebrity bartenders serve craft cocktails, beer, and wine while raising funds to support youth aging out of the foster care system in Broward County.

This event is free to attend! Proceeds and tips from all drinks served up by our "celebrity bartenders" will go to support FLITE Center!

One of the critical challenges that youth aging out of foster care face is emergency food assistance. As the only one-stop resource center for transitioning youth in Broward County, FLITE Center serves as a support system in the areas of housing, education, employment, and resource navigation. Within this service structure, we fill the gaps youth may face when entering adulthood. This support allows our youth’s essential needs to be met and helps provide stability while they deal with other challenges in their lives.

We invite you to participate in our “Stock the Pantry Summer Social”, on Tuesday, July 17th (6 pm – 8 pm) at Stache, where we will be raising funds to provide our youth with this much-needed support.

100% of the admission fee will go towards emergency food assistance. Attendees will receive 1 drink ticket, appetizers, and networking opportunities.

Luis Rosario's Birthday Celebration fundraising campaign benefiting The FLITE Center, a central resource center for youth aging out of foster care!

Rather than giving birthday presents, Luis asks that friends and family make a suggested donation of $25 or more (there is no cap on how much you can donate!) to The FLITE Center.

The campaign will culminate with a birthday party at The Hideaway, free for anyone who participates in the campaign.

Come and join The FLITE Center in celebrating the grand opening of the “Grauer Tech Lab”, a 7-unit computer lab donated by Dr. Robert T. Grauer.

As a volunteer, Dr. Grauer donates his time at the FLITE Center as a tutor for youth preparing for the GED exam. While volunteering, he noticed the need for new computers and donated the necessary funds to help us establish our first computer lab to help advance the educational development of our youth.

For this we are forever grateful and are paying tribute to his charitable act by hosting a grand opening ceremony and titling the lab in his name.

We would like to invite you to share this special moment with us and thank Dr. Grauer for his help. There will be light bites and refreshments served.
